Law for rural students.
“We opened the institute so that rural students could also study law.”
Five teachers founded the trust, and since 2004 it has run a CBSE residential school for Classes 5 to 10 that serves students from across Karnataka.
In 2024 the trust established the Institute of Legal Studies, and more than sixty students joined in the first year. The institute is recognised by Karnataka State Law University and approved by the Bar Council of India.
We hired experienced law faculty and hold weekly guest lectures by legal experts. Students have a large playground, a library of over 2,500 law books, a computer room, a moot court, a legal aid cell and separate hostels for boys and girls. Yoga, sports, music, dance and Yakshagana training complete campus life.

The institute aims to produce legal professionals with strong knowledge, ethical grounding and the skills to be employed.
Classrooms, a library with legal texts, journals and digital resources, a moot court hall and faculty in both law and management support that aim.
Seminars, workshops and guest lectures by judges, senior advocates and scholars, together with moot court training, legal aid, internships and visits to law firms and NGOs, build critical thinking, leadership and problem-solving. Debate, research, mediation and community service are encouraged.

The institute was established in 2024 by the Bhuvana Jyothi Education Trust, is affiliated to Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi, and is approved by the Bar Council of India.
Students learn from experienced faculty through value-based teaching, ICT, certificate programmes and extracurricular activities that build brotherhood, teamwork, professionalism, empathy and a spirit of service.
The campus has a hostel, canteen, playground and a library with books, journals and online access to legal materials. Moot courts, law firm visits, workshops and expert talks give practical exposure.

The institute offers the five-year integrated BBA LL.B and the three-year LL.B, with the aim of modern legal education that develops well-rounded legal professionals.
Experienced faculty, research engagement, moot court and court visits, internships, legal literacy work and campus facilities prepare graduates for careers as advocates, judges, prosecutors, notaries, researchers and academics.
